I was 13 when I first saw "The Thing" and it scared me sleepless and the first mission in my young life was to "watch the skies." At 71 years of age "The Thing" still brings back the chills and an old old fear.

America does it again. Such spooky music and dodgy effects makes a classic sci-fi film. You can not make them like this any more. Thank you for an awesome classic sci-fi

I agree with dragonlady and ace_drummand . Moreover I find the script as simple as fascinating with the idea.
I saw this movie when I was a kid, and again after years. It is always a pleasure to watch it again. Great movie!

I'm a science fiction fan... but being born in the seventies i have little knowledge about classic such as this one , thank you for this opportunity to enjoy myself , it was a great film ....
best sci-fi ever = alien and aliens (1 and 2)

This movie scared the living crap out of me when I was boy. Something about being stranded in the Arctic with that f**king THING! Really got to me. HA HA HA
It was so much fun to see it again.
