The Secret KGB UFO Files (1998)
"For five decades, American agencies have stockpiled information on UFOs. So did their counterparts behind the iron curtain. Soldiers, scientists and spies all paint a disturbing picture of the KGB's secret campaign. The UFO encounter that almost sparked a nuclear war. The pair of MiG fighters that tried to shoot down a UFO - both jets blown out of the sky! Stunning proof that the Soviets recovered something not from this earth! Amazing film footage smuggled out of Russia. This exclusive investigation into one of the most compelling events of our time is hosted by Roger Moore." -

The head of the russion UFO Society disclosures both parts of the "Secret KGB UFO Files" movies as hoax.
The so-called "secret 16mm Footage" are fake because old soviet footage of the 60/70s had a brownish-look - a limitation of russion film emulsions.
The Soldiers in the UFO Crash scene are wearing a belt which is wrong. Just Officiers are allowed to wear a leather belt - this was a very rigid rule of the soviet army. The Soldiers wearing coats with silver buttons on it - these buttons were introduced in the late 70/early 80s. In the 60s the coats does not show silver buttons. Again.....an error which the fakers did.
In the Second Video they show russian KGB agents discovering the secret chamber in the pyramids. Again the uniforms are wrong.....also the flashlight (silver metalic) are wrong.....then they open the sarcophagus and mystical steam is appearing........after 10 000 years steam/fog is appearing?
At the End of the video they show a nice woman who identifies here lost parents on a UFO praying session. I am sorry....I know the girl...I jerked of 2-3 movies of here...she is a *** actress from russia (out of business today).
76% of the facts are hoax/lies....the rest are speculations and just stories. Dont take this documentary as fact....its a hoax!
What a coincidence.......
Also, the silly "1968 recovered footage" of the disc in the forest is also from the 1990s. I have a lot of footage taken in the late 60s and throughout the 70's of my family. That film has a sputtering quality on playback, the chemicals used to produces a washed out look, and the film is very susceptible to oxidization, leaving it with a sepia tone - depending on how well it has aged.
All that footage is false. The "computer simulation" on how the disc landed is also poorly thought out. If it crashed and bounced end over end, it would not come to rest half embedded in the ground in a frozen environment. The ground is frozen, and if it didn't end up stuck in the ground on it's first hit, it definately would not after slowing down its momentum by flipping on the ground. This slows down the momentum and the final impact. It would be resting on the ground, and the surrounding trees would be cracked and sheared off.
If there is any worthwhile documents and other footage in here, it comes into suspect with such apparently hoaxed film.
I guess, it's just for entertainment purposes only. Too bad.
