Santa's Workshop

"SANTA'S WORKSHOP takes you to the real world of China's toy factories. Workers tell us about long working hours, low wages, and dangerous work places. Those who protest or try to organize trade unions risk imprisonment."

China is growing but their poor people are suffering for the whole country. Embarrassing'', the whole world know that China is a pure propaganda and they make their own people suffer to be a world power. Spread the wealth'' You PIG'', communist will eventually died. China, Vietnam , Cambodia, and Burma evil leaders will see Hitler and Stalin in HELL soon.

Walmart and Sam's Club is one of the worst American companies for buying Chinese Made Products. Often for .18 Cents Each, then resale in the US for $14.95.
I have to agree with others here, often to save money, most Americans turn a blind eye to the severe Human Rights violations in China and other communist, socialist, or totalitarian governments.
I haven't even watched the film yet....I just finished watching "Walmart: The High Cost of Low Prices". If you can still shop in a Walmart after seeing the documentary.....Then I can't think of anything good to say about you then.

In America, we get the concept Made In China means cheaper prices... as we understand the concept that Made In China also means forced labor and people spilling their blood, sweat and tears to get you that product for 50cents less while the corporations rake in the cash. But somehow, our wants for products outweigh our duty as humanitarians.

I care for all living things, in some way I even care for the malevolant among us, I do think that things in this world are able to be changed, as for this movie, it shows the importance of education; the world over. Google the key words compostors...it will lead to a yahoo group that is based in CA and is totally dedicated to buying nothing new again. With the exception of medical stuff, and hygene items they buy all things second handed and most things they do without. Faustian Bargains are stupid idiosynchrocies that happen to appeal to our society, we think we need things to be happy, check out www.storyofstuff.com We are ignorant, and we must change, we will never escape the real, into the aether if we do not save ourselves...

If you care about the plight of these people, are you willing to pay more for the products they produce. Are you? No, because you love cheap! Someone stated the "west" should help these poor folks. Right !!! The "west is Wall Street, Wal-Mart, Washington(DC). Come on now, how are the elite going to become trillionaires if we make Mickey Mouse in Detroit. China is communist..duhh! You don't see the DC "boys" trying to convert them to a democracy. When you take home your "made in China", think about the one tied to a workbench for 18 hrs. a day that made it all possible. Do you care ... really ? Hey, I gotta run, Wal-Mart has a big sale today.

More like 'Satan's' workshop. I will never complain about my job again. Well I probably will, but seriously this is a great documentary. Everybody knows this is happening but the more you are presented with it, the more real it seems. Sick sad world :-(

I think the west needs to do more to incourage china to help there workers.
This film left me with a feeling of sadness and helplessness as i alone can not change the wests demand for cheap goods.
If there is a god i hope he comes down heavy on those who practice these working conditions.
