Yep, I feel asleep when I watched it in 1962 also. Still stinks after all these years. Great movie if you are having trouble getting to sleep. The pictures of their homely wives and kids are more scary than the rubber monsters.
So now it has been 46 years later and I have gotten to watch the whole movie and found out what happens after that one scene.
I guess you could say it was a dream come true !
